finding package is still an issue

Hi all,
 I'm a user & sometime finding information about a particular package
becomes a nightmare.  I'll take an example to illustrate the same.

I have a package called dict which I went to search on
https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/ & put the search query I get
something like 84 hits. Now who has time for this? Looking through
those 84 results still didn't the right package I was looking for.
               I'm sure somebody has filed a bug for same purpose. If
there is a bug filed in the BTS please lemm know.  Also please lemme
know where the dict package is situated?
