I respectfully disagree.   We don't need another layer of governance, or 
another wiki page, or another irc channel, or another meeting for people to 
attend.   We need to improve the communication between existing teams, build 
mentoring relationships,  and co-operate on events.  IMO, none of these 
things is helped by the ubuntu-us proposal.  

There are currently 28 US based teams, only 4 of those are approved.  That is 
the problem, not a naming convention.   LoCo's should be supported and 
strengthened wherever they spring up.  The Code of Conduct and the conflict 
resolution process are strong enough to take care of the governance.
