Hi Ian,
thanks for the feedback. Can you say which install ISO you used? I'
surmising one of the two alternate ones if you put it onto a CD.
Wiping the HDD is not needed, the installer will happily do that for you :P
(one of the complaints when some one says "YES, I'd like you to delete
everything on my HDD" and then realise a couple of minutes later just what
they asked the installer to do :) )
1GB RAM and that processor should not cause any issues for install.
