Seemed to be in working order?? I got to 25.10 by editing sources . . . possibly not removing the mkusb item from the repo??? Good for you :-) An easy way to check for the bug is to make a live (or persistent live) Lubuntu 25.10 system in a USB drive, install mkusb from ppa:mkusb/unstable and try to start mkusb from the Lubuntu menu.
