Jared, thanks for your comments on

It's my intention to impose some organization on the wiki.  If it
requires people to think for a little bit before they start typing
stuff in, IMHO, this is not a big problem.

The grid/icon  format is used by wikipedia.com:(scroll to the bottom)

and the LXDE wiki as shown in my attachment.
