No, just change the existing "Create your launchpad account" link so it
points to

  https://help.launchpad.net/YourAccount/NewAccount

This already has a link to the account signup page at

  https://launchpad.net/+login

which is where the link currently points.

So, we can add a pointer to existing info on creating an LP account, and
*no* increase in text length is needed for this.  I'd make the edit, but
you asked us not to... so... please make the edit :)

Incidentally: we have people who want to join a team, but are incapable
of Googling for "create launchpad account" ??  That is not very
impressive as an indicator of the newcomers ability to think for
themselves, if you ask me :)
