platform overview for Lubuntu/LXDE?

Hi,

I found a quite nice platform overview for Gnome at
http://developer.gnome.org/index.html.en at the bottom of the page and
in more detail at
http://developer.gnome.org/platform-overview/stable/

I'm looking for something similar for Lubuntu/LXDE, but didn't found
anything. Is there any link I missed?

Or can someone tell me which technologies (including but not limited to
the programming langugage) to use for programming for Lubuntu/LXDE?
There are probably some overlappings between technologies used by Gnome
and LXDE, but I can imagine that there are maybe also some lightweight
alternatives one should prefer.
