PCManFM - Copying Java '.jar' Files in Lubuntu 12.10

All:

I do a lot of Java development, and I noticed in Lubuntu 12.10 that PCManFM 
no longer allows me to copy Java-archive ('.jar') files.  

The only way to do it in the current release appears to be by using 
console commands.  

Does anyone know why this has changed?
