I'm recording and editing a video, and I'm planning to set english
subtitles and post it on youtube. Until there, you guys can try this out.
It is quite simple. The video will help newcomers to make it...
1. Start a Linux Distro (can use LiveCDs)
2. Insert USB drive
3. Instalall ou Open gparted
$ *sudo apt-get install gparted*
- Create a FAT32, EXT2, EXT3 or EXT4 partition. Set Label if you want...
4. Find out which system device is your USB drive (on gparted or with this
command:)
$ *fdisk -l*
5. Mount USB drive and Instalall GRUB2 on device...
$ grub-install --force --no-floppy --boot-directory=*/mnt/USB/*boot
*/dev/sd*X
- *Replace* these bold paths with yours...
6. Put some configuration files on the USB drive (download package at
*http://webativo.com/uploads/files/usb-pack.zip
<http://webativo.com/uploads/files/usb-pack.zip>*)
7. Put the images you want on* iso* directory...
8. Check the grub.cfg file and/or menu.lst and try it out!!
