[lubuntu-users] About scanning for and turning wifi on/off

Thank you all for the helpful input.

I did a full upgrade and following a reboot, everything `just worked'

Right clicking the network tray icon showed my two wifi nets and
prompted me for passwd.  None of that was happening prior to the upgrade.

I did press FN + F8 so not sure if that is what helped, the reason I
say that is because when pressing that combo again, wifi continued to
work.  Should I see anything happen immediately when pressing the combo?

It would toggle on/off right, if that is what got the wifi working?
