[lubuntu-users] On Lubuntu 18.04, is a 32-bit /home compatible with a 64-bit home?

Hi Aere,

I did this operation (upgraded from Lubuntu 32-bit 16.04 LTS to 64-bit 
18.04 LTS) recently, and I could port the /home directory including the 
hidden files.

I have also tested similar operations with persistent live drives, and 
my experience is that the /home directory is very portable between 
versions and architecture.

But if you change user ID (name as well as numeric) you must tweak the 
system so that the ownership matches in the new home directory.
