    - Remove. l-a-l is a C++ codebase that does not explicitly try to
      manage symbol visibility, and so the specific set of symbols exported
      is annoyingly architecture- and compiler-option-dependent.
      Use shlibs instead; the default -VUpstream-Version is suitable
