Whether or not he did shouldn't matter. Juju will add the the local ssh
keys automatically to user-data for MAAS to send over. IOW, it works
even when you don't add the SSH key to the MAAS. (You only need to add
SSH keys to the MAAS, to connect to instances started from the UI.)
