can't start mir natively - 13.04

Hi,

I have managed to successfully build mir on my amd64 13.04 and wanted to
play a bit with the demo server (*Running Mir natively*
http://unity.ubuntu.com/mir/using_mir_on_pc.html) but ended up with a black
screen.

I am aware that patched drivers are needed to run X inside Mir but are
those needed to run it correctly next to a regular X (in a separate VT)? I
use the xorg-edgers version of xserver-xorg-video-ati drivers and use the
following command line:
# mir_demo_server --glog --glog-log-dir /home/darek/logs --vt 1
--glog-stderrthreshold 0 --display-report log --input-report log
--msg-processor-report log --session-mediator-report log --glog-minloglevel
0

This ends up with a black screen (my display eventually goes to sleep after
a couple of seconds).

In the logs dir there was only a single file and it seem to freeze right
after starting: http://pastebin.com/bX8z0R6U
I was unable to switch VTs (even to my default X session Ctrl+Alt+7).
After logging in via ssh from a different machine I did not see
mir_demo_server among the running processes.

I would appreciate any help with this issue and any hints for a mir-hacker
wannabe :)

Thanks,
Darek
