powernowd (1.00-1.1ubuntu1) natty; urgency=low
* Resynchronise with Debian. Remaining changes:
- Fix printk suppression in init script.
- Test for governor file to avoid error messages; report skip as
action-continue.
- Check if $x/cpufreq/ondemand/ignore_nice_load is availablebefore
writing to it.
- Set printk configuration back to its previous state on powerpc too.
- Use ondemand if possible
- Switch back to performance if powernowd is stopped
- Split init script so that modules are loaded before gdm.
- Remove stop links from rc0 and rc6.
- Add versioned dependency on sysv-rc.
- Add /usr/share/powernowd/cpufreq-detect.sh script to detect the right
modules to load.
- Load powernow-k8 on AMD Family 10h (Phenom) and 11h (Griffin/Puma)
processors.
- Don't use ondemand governor if it is not working for the particular
hardware.
- Change package description to better match what the package is doing
in Ubuntu (using powernowd only as a fallback).
powernowd (1.00-1.1) unstable; urgency=low
* Non-maintainer upload.
* Fix bashism in init script (Closes: #472884)
* Depend on $remote_fs in init script, the daemon is installed in /usr.
