hello everyone :-) <waves>

i am new here (and to ubuntu). I can translate documents in Marathi,
Hindi, Sanskrit and German.  Hindi was the only language listed but I
noticed that some pages in Hindi had the original script (and not
Hindi written in English).
What software (and hardware, say keyboard) would be needed to accomplish this ?
Can somebody give pointers and where i can get the resources .
