You've misunderstood my point. Rosetta is a translation tool. As such,
using it, by definition, requires knowledge of at least two languages.
At the moment, at least one of those languages has to be English. That
may change in the future, but for now, there is no pressing need, in my
opinion, to make the interface available in other languages. It would be
nice, but it is not a very important feature, at least in my opinion.

*Ubuntu* does not and should not require good knowledge of English,
indeed one of the fundamental philosophies of Ubuntu is making software
available in the user's native language. That is a completely different
thing, because you can use Ubuntu to do lots of things which should only
require knowing one language.

Right, but at the moment the main Rosetta FAQ is on the Ubuntu wiki, I
think (I may be wrong, I haven't checked carefully).
