Access denied to /dev/ttyUSB0

Hi,
Just to catch up on the latest here.
Now I am migrating to Ubuntu 16.04, having previously being running on
15.04.
I used to do :

    sudo snappy hw-assign SNAP /dev/ttyUSB0.

So now I need to do :

    snap connect SNAP:serial-port ubuntu-core:serial-port-1
replacing serial-port with /dev/ttyUSB0 ? What is serial-port-1 then?

Thanks.
