Packaging with pygtk

I have a graphical python project built with pygtk I wish to package, 
I'm using travis CI to automatically package and release when I commit 
to github.

I have been informed that pygtk needs to be specifically installed and 
bundled within snapcraft.yaml / travis.yaml but I don't seem to be able 
to get it to work. Does anyone have any insight into how this is done?
