Webcam app

Dear Snappy Developers,

I have just started to familiarize myself with Snappy development and I
have successfully set up a Snappy system on a Beaglebone Black card. My
goal is to develop an application that uses web cams. Currently I am at the
point that both of my (ordinary) webcams generate "device vxxx pyyy is not
supported" messages when connected.

I would be grateful to receive any pointers, how to proceed. What is the
easiest way to support my webcams? What is the webcam application that can
be ported to snappy with the minimum pain? Maybe there are already such
applications out there?
