Thanks for the hints, Dan. I wasn't aware there is a 2nd mailing list (I
now subscribed), which has this question asked already.

Yep. A "Ubuntu experience", simple to go summary recipe would be nice ..
in particular for dummies like me who don't do this every day and forget
everything all the time;)
