Power Saving modes on BBB?

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu Snappy 15.04 (stable) on BeagleBone Black.

I intend to put the device into one of the power saving modes but aside
"disk" which is too deep sleep for me, none of them works.

E.g.:
root at localhost:~# cat
/sys/power/state
disk

root at localhost:~# echo "freeze"
>/sys/power/state
bash: echo: write error: Invalid
argument
root at localhost:~#

What am I doing wrong?
