Gustavo,

AFAIK only certain kernel versions provide full cape (and kernel modules)
support. There're several kernel modules not supported in newer kernels
(e.g. remoteproc or the capemgr).
I'd consider the two mentioned above as fundamental (when speaking about
the BBB community).

I've CC'ed Jason Kridner from BeagleBoard. Jason, are there any plans to
fully support modules such as the capemgr or remoteproc in newer kernel
versions?
