is totem confusing, or is it just me?

I'm being totally stupid... I actually meant "rhythmbox".

   I'm really confused by rhythmbox.  How do I just play an mp3 file I
   have in my home directory?

I see options to "import location" and "import folder", but really, I 
just want to play one music file.
