It should be fixed by now. If it isn't please let me know, but to do so
you need to simulate a first install like i described in "Second call for
X testing". step 1 should be enough.

Manly the problem was that autodetected resolutions were lost across
upgrades. Now the debconf templates are able to grow with polled data and
information won't be lost.
