LCD resolution probe failing in current daily

I just test-installed the current daily CD (xfree86 4.3.0.dfsg.1-6ubuntu12,
xresprobe 0.3-0ubuntu3, discover1 1.6.1ubuntu4), and it is asking me the
mode question again.

"xresprobe ati" gives:

id:
res: 1024x768
freq:

which is correct, and it hadn't asked me this question the last time I
tested an install of xfree86 from scratch with the autodetection tools
installed.
