Exactly. I hoped that the kernel would tell me. PCMCIA cards look
_exactly_ like fixed IDE/SCSI discs (probably PCMCIA is not much more
than a hotpluggable PCI port), and by looking at sysfs there is no way
to decide whether they are removable.

To handle this, we have to change the pmount policy and quite some
code, which is certainly not appropriate at this stage of the freeze.
So the classical fstab approach must suffice there.
