Yes, but this doesn't seem to fit the 'greatest common factor' concept
(which has been used to shoot down several of my suggestions for additions
to desktop).

The Live CD might be a reasonable place to show off available applications,
but the default desktop should have what the user will actually use.

I thought we had agreed that inkscape was the winner here.  Feedback from
people who use these applications extensively seems to indicate that they
prefer inkscape.
