This has been fixed here:

 gnome-panel (2.7.92.1-0ubuntu5) warty; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/patches/04_default_panel_config.patch:
     - evolution version is 2.0 now.

(basically they changed the filename from evolution-1.5.desktop to 2.0)

Which version is on the CD ?
