prism2_usb and linux-wlan-ng

We have the prism2_usb driver in our kernels now; I have a suitable
device to test it with (one of those things that doubles as a wireless
device and pen drive). However, we don't have linux-wlan-ng in warty,
which makes it rather difficult to do anything with it, let alone make
it work in the installer as I'd been planning to do.
Would now be a bad time to ask for it to go in Supported or something?
:-) (I'm guessing the answer's "yes, wait for hoary" ... but it seems a
shame to ship an unusable driver in our kernels.)
