Could we do the same for ppc?

At this moment I have two delays of 10 seconds until the system boots.

The first one lets me select the operating system (Linux, BSD, MacOSX,
MacOS or boot from CDROM). by default it let's me choose Linux or CDROM
boot (10 seconds until it boots linux option)

The second one lets me choose the kernel I want to boot (another 10
seconds waiting until it boots the default one).

With Apple machines (I'm not sure if it works with old machines), you
can press the 'c' char on boot and you boot from the cdrom so the first
menu is useless if you only select between Linux or CDROM.

Also, if you press the Alt key when turn on an Apple machine, you get a
graphical boot selector that list all operating systems the computer
detects, it's dynamic so it detects any new addition without changing
anything. It also detects firewire/usb/net boot devices so it's also
better than our text selector.

Cheers.
