40% is a pretty good conversion rate. Of course, actually getting a random
selection is tough, and he admits his group were more likely to be open to
Linux than the general population. I particularly liked his justification
of recommending Gnome over KDE. Not "Gnome is better", but "Gnome is what
I use, so it'll be easier to help you with it".
