I was suprised to see that Breezy does not come with support for a
serial mouse. At home I have an old machine and when it boots up and the
mouse does not respond one feels quite hopeless. It is not easy to try
and navigate around to find the correct config files and edit them
without a mouse if one is not already an experienced Linux user. It took
me quite a bit of fidling to find that alt -f2 , I think, to get a non
GUI terminal up an running. But it was about six months since I had got
the mouse working with Hoary and so I could not remember the commands to
get into the text editor. I decided in the end to leave Breezy for a
newer computer at work.
