Yeah there are a few of these bouncing around. One which has recently
received the support of the Italian locoteam is:

It provides the standard Ubuntu install, but with Italian localisation,
saving the 18MB of download required to localise Ubuntu in Italian.
Another, which seems to me to be slightly more controversial, is
http://www.zipman.it/UbuntuPiu/
which provides dvdcss2 and w32codecs!
Anyway, localised cds rock! There are 4 listed here:
