I am using Dapper and for months I have not had the ability to switch consoles from within X using Ctrl-Alt-F*. AFAICT there's no way to switch from X to/from a text console. I'm not sure if it ever worked since switching from Debian - it might have broken around the Xorg 7.0 transition. Any idea why this is not working? Was this feature removed from Ubuntu? Lee
