Hm....   Not where I live. :) This post reaches you through an 
old 33K6 modem that's the only one I had around that's not a 
Windows-only modem. :)

For laptop computers especially you do tend to find yourself in 
places where your only way to connect is to inset a phone line..

A lot of non-Western countries do have a lot of wealthy enough 
people, but in many places just not the infrastructure you'd 
find in Manhattan. :)

(Not a lot of wealthy people measured in percentage of the 
population, but in absolute numbers: a whole lot of people. :)
