Is there some reason why the nvidia-glx package doesn't just run
nvidia-glx-config enable as part of the postinst script? It would seem
to make sense. This would make it easier to use. For somebody who is
afraid of the command line, this would allow them to just install the
package and restart the computer (I know you only have to restart X but
this has to be done from the command line, so we should probably just
advise them to restart. Also, a button to restart X would be nice, one
which requires rot privileges.

The goal of Ubuntu is to be as easy to use as possible, and that means
making sure that the end user doesn't have to sue the command line for
ANYTHING. The goal is not to push potential users out of their comfort
zones and thus scare them away from Linux.
