You're quite correct: in that manner, it's typical to only grant them
privileges to perform certain commands; eg. `/etc/init.d/mysql restart',
or whatever. There's very little risk of security issues if they could
authenticate once to perform *what they've been delegated*.
On the other hand, if you've been granted full access - practically one
of the only ways that sudo could get out of hand - then if you're the
person who is casually in the habit of picking up such viruses, then
perhaps you shouldn't be given it. (the access)

P.S. sorry Peter; I'm using Evolution; its default action is to choose
you as the primary recipient and CC the list. I'll hunt for options!
