In theory. In practice, it's not as well-tested or bugfree. In fact, 
"Almost untested" would probably fit rather better. It's preferable to 
ndiswrapper, but that's pretty much as favourable as I can be about 
it right now. In a few months, it'll probably be less of a problem.

(And we still need to fix the ata_piix/ahci problem, anyway)
