Yup, that's just as valid.  It could also be done in the fullmac driver
itself.

The only reason I think a pseudo-driver would be easier is just having
had a brief look at the prism54 code, which is HUGE for both drivers
(much larger than the usual single .c file).

Either way, the driver-core bits are easy enough.
