Yes, that's the question: who is going to provide the security patches? 
Maintaining Firefox 1.0 independently of the Mozilla Foundation strikes 
me as an absolute nightmare. And the chances are, with Dapper lasting 
three years on the desktop, that 1.5 will stop being supported by 
Mozilla at some point during the lifecycle.
