Oracle intersted in buying Ubunutu

Somehow Oracle and more importantly, Larry Ellison, does not really
seem to have that "humanity toward others" philosophy about them. I
don't really think Larry is advocating Linux, I think he is just
worried about its popularity effecting his pockets. He seems to be
just following traditional anti-competitive practices of buying up the
competition just because he can. Ubuntu is so popular (and
successful), in part, exactly because it is not tied to some giant
heartless multibillion dollar conglomerate. It may be a good idea for
Oracle, but its a terrible idea for Ubuntu. The thought gives me the
chills. It would deeply offend many people, including myself.

Its just another giant selling over priced bits building an arsenal to
take on the 800 pound gorilla selling other over priced bits.
