numbers names education or how I learned to say six dot zero six instead of dapper drake

Hi All,

Perhaps it would be worth while if rather than making a big deal about 
the name we actually referred to it as,
... the development branch of the 6.10 release edgy eft ... or words to 
that effect.
If we were to start with that now it should stick, and it may get people 
thinking in terms of release equals  numbers and names equal beta, which 
is where non developers and non testers should be using. :-)

Given the work on automatic updating of our favourite distro we now know 
that knowledge of the names for the upgrade process should be able to go 
away and be replaced by a small shell script, with a polished graphical 
front end.
