wine amd64

I have just compiled wine in amd64 using gcc-3.4 with the -m32 flag. Finally 
possible. The version of wine I have compiled is the latest, 0.9.12. Is there 
any possibility of adding it so that wine can be used in amd64 in Dapper, in 
spite of the feature freeze? t would seem to make sense, as you can't install 
IE6 in wine-0.9.9, which is what you can get in Dapper. It installs quite 
smoothly, although the 32-bit versions of come libraries have to be added. 
This would necessitate some changes to the ia32-libs and ia32-libs-dev 
packages too. 

Is it at all practical to add a package this close to the release date?
