RMS isn't fighting that fight, and doesn't need to. He's not going to be the
primary person in their heads when it comes to procurement of software for
their purposes.
In "figurehead" terms the two most relevant "Open Source" people to decision
makers on Wall Street might be Jonathan Schwartz and Matthew Szulik, but you
must also consider the "non-figurehead" people they directly work with at
companies such as IBM, HP and Sun.
Like most visionaries with staunch beliefs and little time for other things,
RMS is a pain in the arse to work with. But we are all better off thanks to
him.
