Your guess is as good as mine. Propaganda wise for KDE it was a bit of
a coup when Linus weighed in on the KDE side. It was what spurred me
to take another look at KDE. Even as late as KDE 3.2 I tested it and
discarded it as unusable, but 3.4 was a different cuppa tea.

Anyway, I have work to do :)
