Have I missed something? Are we trying to pretend that Ubuntu is not GNU/
Linux?

How this is a "problem" continues to escape me...

I guess "marketing speak" is not my way of looking at the world.

I would have thought the word "Linux" should be a matter for pride. The
day Ubuntu ceases to identify as GNU/Linux will be the day I return to
Debian .
