My recommendation to users in general is that they should only run the
development branch if they are both a) willing to accept the occasional
serious breakage (e.g., packages failing to install or work), b) able to
extricate themselves from such a situation if they do encounter it, and c)
willing to file good quality bug reports about real problems.
