(That was quite a funny article. I guess I wouldn't fit into Texan culture

I didn't see anything there about RMS other than a great sense of humour and 
Joie de vivre.

I don't see the problem. GNU is a huge part of the picture. 
And "riding on the coat tails of Linus" betrays your bias. You use a trite 
phrase to sweep history and fact under the rug.

The naming thing is PotatOH potAHto. I use "Linux" because it's quicker, but I 
always keep in mind what's involved. When I speak or write to the uninformed, 
I always use "GNU/Linux."

I didn't find ref. to this hypocrisy in that article, did you invent that?

Look, it's simple. Just because you may or may not personally like RMS has 
nothing to do with the situation. It's strawman and ad-hominem to dismiss the 
GPL and the good sense behind it by attacking personalities.
