Ah, that old story; it wasn't new when I last read about it in early 2004.
I wasn't able to stay tuned in the sequel, and was thinking that case
had been settled in the meantime :-\

Below is an old signature of mine from 1995, it seems we are approaching
a situation that had been desirable back in the 80s, FSF was around even
earlier.
